This was definitely the kid’s longest ski day ever. We are very impressed with how well Addison did after a few rough starts earlier this year. And Colin’s turns are really starting to get better. Sam and Evelyn make a cameo here in the video as they’re an important part of our ski team.
In the video, you can see them all following along each other very well. They’re pretending to be both a long train and also flying planes all at the same time.
Here’s a few more photos from February, 23rd. There was some fresh new but it was also really foggy and socked in. Both the kids had another great day, and Addison finished off the first run by yelling out “I’m doing it, I’m doing it”, which was really cute to see her realize that she really is doing well. Mom and Colin took off to the next chairlift over, ‘Midway Chair’, which took them to a little larger hill and Colin had his first taste of real powder (which was also a little more difficult to ski in!).
