Laity Pumpkin Patch, 2018

We headed out to the Laity Pumpkin Patch in Maple Ridge for a speedy one-hour tour of the farm since we had swimming lessons later in the morning morning, and then Katie had to head into work for the Apple Festival. Last year was the first year we came out to this pumpkin patch, and the kids absolutely loved it. This year was so much easier than last year when the kids weren’t nearly as steady on their feet, and it was a pretty slow pace—and that was with Aunt Christine helping wrangle the kids. As mentioned above, this year we had one hour to do it all and get back into town for those swimming lessons.

We’re pretty impressed with the variety of things to see and do out at their pumpkin patch. The kids love exploring all the different areas of the forest. Wish we would have had more time to spend at some of the different parts of the farm, but we’ll be back year…

This video should probably cover all your pumpkin patch needs for at least a year.

There's a cool tree that you can run around in the middle of the forest area – the kids and daddy.

Okay, here's what we're here for! Lots and lots of pumpkins in the field to pick from.

Another twin-mom offered to take some pictures of us, so we returned the favour. And then naturally we exchanged potty-training tips and went on our way.

The kids had a blast running around in the field... Luckily it was a beautiful sunny day and the field was nice and dry.

The kids loved the corn maze; I wish we had more time to play in there, but this tunnel going into the maze was pretty cool.

Making our final selections. We got one big one and then Addison and Colin picked out their own smaller ones.
