We finally got around to shooting photos of the kids for their 1st birthday—and some family photos as well, but it did take us a couple of extra months to actually make it happen since we returned home from the east coast for their actual first birthday party. We met up again with Cally, who photographed Addison and Colin when they were first born. We made plans to meet at the Maplewood Flats Conservation Area, just off the Dollarton Hwy in North Vancouver. It’s a nice park with long windy trails just off the Burrard Inlet which worked out to be a perfect place to shoot, right up along the water.
